[Course Announcement] 2026 Pre-Calculus Summer Course for International & Overseas Chinese Students
Purpose
This intensive, short-term course is designed to help international and overseas Chinese students build a strong mathematical foundation. It prepares participants for core undergraduate subjects such as Calculus and Engineering Mathematics at NCKU.
Course Highlights
Tuition: FREE of charge
Credits: 2 credits (counted toward the Fall Semester, 2026)
Key Topics: Exponential and logarithmic problem-solving, trigonometric functions, and fundamental mathematical analysis.

Schedule & Venue
Duration: August 13 – September 1, 2026 (12 days total)
Class Dates: Aug 13-14, 17-18, 20-21, 24-25, 27-28, 31, and Sept 1
Weekly Classes: Every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday
Time: 09:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Venue: Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics (DAA) Building, NCKU
Eligibility
The course is open to international or overseas Chinese students who meet either of the following criteria:
1) Incoming freshmen accepted for the Fall 2026 semester (enrollment priority).
2) Current students who have previously failed either Calculus (1) or Calculus (2). (Note: This is a review course and does not count as a formal credit retake.)
