We are pleased to announce the launch of a Buddy Program designed to welcome international freshmen to our department.

🙋‍♀️As a Buddy, you will be the first friendly face our new international students meet at NCKU, helping them to settle in smoothly. Here is a quick overview of what we would love for you to do:


✉️ Answering any questions they might have before they arrive in Taiwan.
👋 Welcoming them upon arrival and giving them a tour of the NCKU campus.
🏠 Assisting with dorm check-in, course registration, and other necessary tasks to help them get settled.
📱 Email, text, or call them once a week during their first month to see how they are doing.
📘 Introducing them to DAA / IBDE courses and sharing what they can look forward to.
🏙 Helping them get comfortable with daily life around the Tzu-Chang campus.
🗺 Showing them where to find important NCKU offices.

🏅Active Buddies will receive a certificate from our department and can earn Service Study credits (1, 2, or 3).
